Tell Your Story, Build Your Brand or UVP via Social Media

Developing brand or our UVP (unique value proposition) or our business story is exactly what participating in social media and online communications does for our business. It's about building a character for our business online. All of our greatest storytellers in history such as Shakespeare and others have always engaged us in the story through character building or development.
I recall during English class that we were taught the three ways in which we could determine character:
- What the character says
- What the character does
- And, what others say about the character
Telling our business story is the same character building exercise. What makes it possible for more people to know our story is social media, search engine and email marketing. This is the way our brands or unique value propositions are built and established.
So, to know how our audience might perceive us, we need to listen, respond and tell our story to build up our company image or brand within people's minds. Whether our business is B2B or B2C, our story is what tells prospects that we are experts, experienced and able to help achieve their goals and meet their needs.
